Facts and Trivia

Hey there! This is the exact same Facts and Trivia page from Posterous.  Granted, most of this information is quite a bit outdated, given the fact that some of it's from All the Pieces, but I'm porting it over here for Nostalgia's sake.

I used to have a spoiler warning here, but All the Pieces has been completed for a year now, I'm not going to leave that up.

Fact:
The lesser Nobodies listen to their old masters merely because they are don't know any better.

Trivia:
In Chapter 14 of 'All the Pieces Lie Where They Fell', (Strange Whispers), the first part is Xehanort and Saix talking. However, it is Zexion in Twilight Town because Saix refuses to do dirty work.

Fact:
Xehanort wants absolute power. And to plunge the worlds into darkness.

Trivia:
When Axel mentioned that every heart released by the Keyblade goes back into Kingdom Hearts, he was slightly mistaken. He was referring to the artificial Kingdom Hearts the Organization was forming in attempts to gain hearts of their own. The true Kingdom Hearts is the heart of all worlds and has nothing to do with the hearts of men. The heart of all worlds is what Xehanort is after. Axel just didn't know.

Fact:
Sora always hands Kairi Oathkeeper.

Trivia:
Back when Sora and Roxas were the same person, Axel saw Roxas more than he did Sora because he was best friends with Roxas. He saw Kairi and Namine interchangeably. Oddly enough, Riku saw Kairi and Namine interchangeably, even though he was way closer to Kairi because they grew up together. he saw Sora almost always, though sometimes he saw Roxas.

Fact:
Sora always saw Kairi. Kairi always saw Sora. Roxas almost always saw Namine but Namine saw both Roxas and Sora, sometimes at the same time.

Trivia:
Axel would forgive Saix long before Saix forgave Axel.

Random Fact:
In an early draft, Number 18 had a habit of Heartless following him, but this caused continuity problems and was just too random to be included.

Fact:
The total number of original Vexen Replicas has its roots in the KHII Manga. However, I changed the number from 44 to 42 for some reason and it just stuck. The classification numbers of the replicas that have significant parts in the story are (for the most part) completely random.

Trivia:
There was never a Xehanort Replica in Wonderland. The hooded figure was actually Number 18.

Random Fact:
Did you notice that the first two times Riku REALLY thinks about Namine, it is prompted by Axel. (Which is completely unintentional on my part.)

Trivia:
In the Gummi Ship en route to Neverland, Namine originally drew a picture of Roxas flying in Neverland and it was supposed to be a mini-scene of Roxas' memories from Neverland. But then it became slightly more necessary to hear about Kairi and Riku's feelings toward Neverland and the mini-scene was written out. Some of those memories were later incorporated into the final draft.

Trivia:
There are 42 original Vexen Replicas. There are 24 new ones. Vexen has successfully made 8 other replicas besides those: Repliku, Xion, and 6 Xehanort Replicas.
Of the 42 originals, the first 17 failed and were disabled/discontinued. Of the remaining 25, seven were killed by Xigbar in search for the actual Vexen. 42, 34, and 27 remain in CO even after 19 had been killed. 6 of the remaining ones are dedicated to keeping an eye on the Princesses of Heart. The leftover 8 are unaccounted for.

Fact:
In Neverland, Axel surprised me with his comment about Roxas and Namine. Originally, I didn't want to keep it, but then I saw what amazing character development (and laughs) I could get out of it. Thus, it stayed.

Fact:
Ven's consciousness was so far down in Sora's heart, that no one could speak with him save for Xion when she was asleep. (Yes, this is complicated.)

Trivia:
"User Saix" and CLU are somewhat allusions to Saix in rarmaster's universe. When I saw that CLU saw the ISO's as "imperfections" and he ordered their genocide, it just screamed rarmaster Saix to me.

Fact:
I am not shipping AkuRoku.

Trivia:
When I can't find a suitable chapter title from the soundtrack titles, I look to the mangas, novels, and cutscene titles.

Trivia:
There are six Xehanort replicas. Voldemort has six horcruxes. (Not including Harry.) Coincidence? Nope.

Trivia:
Generally, when I pick Heartless or Unversed for a world, I try and pick Heartless or Unversed that actually appear in those worlds in the games. However, for the Unversed Rampage battle with Xigbar and Xaldin in Hollow Bastion, I just selected random Unversed. Then, when I played through Radiant Garden in Ven's story (yes, I was still working on Birth By Sleep at the time.  It probably would have gone faster if I didn't decide to pick up both Re:CoM and FFVIII at the same time.) I was happy to see that all the Unversed I had picked up showed up. Didn't plan that at all. Woot!

Trivia:
Back when Roxas/Sora and Namine/Kairi were one person, when Roxas had something to say, Sora voiced his thoughts. When Namine had something to say, she spoke through Kairi. Sometimes, when Roxas was passionate enough about something, he'd speak through Sora.

Fact:
When Sora could dual-wield, the summoning of a single Keyblade was always "Two Become One." When he summoned two Keyblades simultaneously, they were "Oathkeeper" and "Oblivion." When he summoned a second Keyblade with one already summoned, the first became "Oblivion," the second is "Oathkeeper."

Fact:
Sora holds Oathkeeper in his right hand. Roxas holds it in his left.

Trivia:
The timeline for Hawaii does not line up whatsoever. This is me not caring. Tron also, is a stretch.

Factoid:
It became apparent in Wonderland that Riku actually has feelings for Namine. He finds her determination attractive. Those are the thoughts he did not voice in Wonderland and did not fully get a chance to think through in Neverland.

Fact: the flower in Kairi's hair in Hawaii is supposed to remind you of a paopu fruit. (You'll have to reference my deviantArt sketches here and here.)

Factoid:
Originally, I was going to come up with a name for what was formerly known as the Organization. But then I decided that it was just more fun to call them the League Formally Known as the Organization. I suppose, in the story, it is just that our heroes (and Vexen) don't know the name.

Trivia:
In early concept ideas, Vexen was to be killed by Xehanort and Zexion and Lexaeus were to run away. However, then Vexen went to another universe. Lexaeus and Zexion still went rogue, but Xehanort sent Xigbar after them. It was Xigbar's own choice to let Zexion go--not mine. Unfortunately, in my head, Xehanort always got a hold of Lexaeus, no matter how much I argued with him. Perhaps, he needed to kill someone.

Trivia:
Joseph had the ability to see both Kairi and Namine/Sora and Roxas simultaneously.

Trivia:
When referring to both Xemnas and Xehanort at the same time, usually a character (at least, those who were in the Organization) will say "The Superior" to avoid awkwardness.

Trivia:
Hawaii is too full of light to have Heartless in it. Why? I don't know. It just is that way.  The Keyhole has also been sealed and has been sealed for a long time.

Fact:
I purposefully picked Experiment 605 because he was from the "mass destruction" series and had virtually no description. However, it is not actually an experiment that they fight in Hawaii. It's a large Unversed, so it doesn't matter. This isn't the first time Jumba has mistaken something that isn't an experiment for one of his dangerous creations. (Rufus, anyone?)

Trivia:
On that Unversed... Said Unversed in Hawaii isn't any particular Unversed. However, in my head, he's somewhat like the Iron Imprisoner. (Either II or III.)

Trivia:
Though it was mentioned that Roxas and Xion met on the Clocktower because that's where they felt at home, Namine meeting them on Destiny Islands that one time was possibly a product of Namine wanting to be somewhere quiet and peaceful.

Trivia:
Saix sending Samurais Axel's way would sort of be like sending Roxas, since Roxas used to control the Samurais. This is why Axel called Saix 'cold.'

Trivia:
Axel's name for the Yellow Mustard, "Thunder Pot" originates for my own nickname for them as I fight them.

Trivia:
The Assassin that targeted Riku in Halloween Town wasn't just a stupid Nobody. Axel told it to attack Riku in an attempt to figure out what pained him and what did not. (If you haven't noticed, Axel doesn't like being in pain. He also has a high sense of self-preservation.) On that train of thought, Axel is not only telling that Assassin not to attack humans but the nearby Unversed, but also making a mental note to himself about what or whatnot he can order the Assassins to attack.

Trivia:
Axel can order the Assassins to attack both Heartless and Unversed (and also other Nobodies) without causing the darkness to rear up in his heart. It is only when he has them attack someone with a heart (a Somebody) that his darkness attacks from within.

Trivia:
Axel's logic is actually a bit lost on me as to why he continues to call Saix, Isa. It's probably a reference to the friendship that once was. Yet he continues to blanch when he is called Lea. I don't get it either.

Fact:
Even though Sephiroth's wing(s) are navy blue in the Kingdom Hearts series, I gave him his black wing from Advent Children because I found it more fitting.

Trivia:
Aerith finds Megalixers like Joseph finds WINNER sticks.

Trivia:
The Keyblades that Kairi and Riku pick up in the Keyblade Graveyard are called "Pain of Solitude" and "Rejection of Fate" respectively. I find them pleasantly ironic.

Fact:
Xehanort still makes use of the Dusks when first invading a world because they are simple-minded, plentiful, and easily replaced. They are his info-gatherers prior to him sending in anything else--much less going in himself.

Fact:In a slight addendum to the whole "lesser Nobodies listen to their old masters thing", Axel can control the Assassins, but only AFTER the darkness is tendered in his heart.  Xehanort then, could always control the Sorcerers.  Xigbar and Xaldin would regain the ability to control the Snipers and the Dragoons fairly quickly, same with Saix and the Berserkers.  Demyx, Luxord, and Roxas do not regain the ability to control their lesser Nobodies.

Trivia:
Going off of that last bit, Dusks are special, and I will leave it at that.  I will explain this later when it comes up.

Fact:
Sora was honestly just too oblivious to admit to the fact that he loved Kairi sooner. And she didn't want to be the first to say anything.

Fact:
Xehanort and his Replicas are connected very deeply. They act on a "hive-mindset." They are all independently acting, but they essentially share the same brain. The real Xehanort knows what the Replicas are up to and, in a way, he can control them. However, since they all essentially share the same brain, he doesn't need to because they were already doing what he would have had them do. Also, the Replicas know what the other Replicas are up to. They can feel when one is destroyed--but they do not feel pain. They just know of the destruction.
This is vastly different from the Vexen Replicas. Granted, they all have a connection to each other, but it is not that deep. They act independently of each other and have the ability to develop different personalities.
This, even, is significantly different from the Riku Replica and Xion, who developed their own sense of self.
And then there is the Namine Replica from rarmaster's universe, who not only achieved her own sense of self out of memories of Repliku's of the real Namine, but she also developed her own separate...ness. And I say 'ness' because I can't think of anything better suited to the situation.
Joseph and the other children do not technically count in this picture, seeing as they're more like experiments than Replicas of any particular person.

Trivia:
Though the Xehanort Replicas cannot feel how another Replica was destroyed, Xehanort can.

Trivia:
In the Keyblade Graveyard, Sora has out the following Keyblades: Two Become One, Oathkeeper, Oblivion, Bond of Flame, Wayward Wind and Lost Memory.

Factoid:
According to KH2FM canon, Sora HAS been to the Keyblade Graveyard. he fought the Lingering Sentiment there. This would go into Sora's feelings of having been there before. However, since he accessed the world through a portal before, it just had not clicked in his brain. (In addition to this, I have not played Final Mix, and I did not remember the Lingering Sentiment until after I'd already written half of the Badlands visit.) Originally, in my head, Sora's feelings of familiarity came from Ven. (Same with Roxas.)

Trivia:
Interesting fact about Kairi and Namine's outfits come the final battle. Kairi is a Princess of Heart, with a heart of pure light, and her skirt, boots and sleeves are all black. Namine, who was formerly a Nobody (and therefore someone who walks the path of darkness) is wearing pale blues and whites. Just an interesting contrast, no?

Trivia:
In an early concept-throwing-around-session, Sora was to lose his ability to wield the Keyblade because Ven was no longer inside of him. However, since he had already achieved the rank of Master, I figured that he had earned his right to wield the Keyblade. They don't just choose anyone.

Trivia:
I searched far and wide for facts and ideas. I didn't get all of them from the games, some ideas and inspiration came from the manga and the novels. Some outfit ideas were drawn from Dead Fantasy. And I'm not going to lie--rarmaster was quite the influence.

Fact:
Namine and Roxas have a brother/sister relationship.

Fact:
Namine strove so hard to get Xion back because she felt guilty that Roxas had lost her in the first place.

Fact:
Namine does not have feelings for Roxas in my story.

Fact:
Namine actually likes Riku. Go figure, he loves her back.

Trivia:
If you were paying attention, you would have noticed that 18 is the first successful replica that Vexen ever made.

Fact:
Sora, Roxas, Namine and Kairi are all part "replica."

Trivia:Terra, Aqua and Ven have not aged (much.)

Terra, because he spent the majority of that time as a Nobody--though he has aged more than Aqua and Ven because there were probably several years where he was NOT a Nobody.
Aqua aged very slowly because time int he realm of darkness passes slower.
Ven did not age at all because he basically spent that time in stasis.

Trivia:
I always knew that Axel and Saix were going to have one final spat and Saix would lose.
Then Axel wanted to show a redeeming quality and offer to save Saix, and then Saix would refuse. Axel was then going to say goodbye to his friend, Isa, though that said friend had already been long gone.
Then Saix had to go and give himself a little plot twist. Rather than just go down with Xehanrot, he wanted to try and kill Xehanort himself (which is consistent with his constant strive for more power).
However, I knew he could not defeat Xehanort, because it takes nearly ten Keyblades full of light (and some other light besides) to finish him for good. Thus, Saix being nearly destroyed by Xehanort happened. Cue Axel trying to save him and Saix refusing.
Turns out, Axel and Saix's battle was not the cause of Saix's death. Instead, Axel almost gets killed instead and then Saix decides to go and single-handedly overthrow Xehanort. Go figure. I wasn't even expecting that.

Trivia:
Namine does NOT remember all-but telling Xion that she likes Riku when they discussed such matters on "Destiny Islands." This is because at the time, her subconscious admitted it, but not the rest of her. This is why the thought is still rather surprising to her when Kairi brings it up in CO. Or rather, why she feels the need to still deny it. Not that Kairi lets her do that for long...

Trivia:
Nothingness destroying something brings darkness.
Nothingness destroying darkness brings resolution.
Nothingness destroying negativity brings absence.

Trivia:
It is actually a Xehanort Replica who is the first to call Namine: Miss Namine. he does so in Halloween Town, even though Namine is not physically there.

Trivia:
When I was writing Sora and Riku in the Dark Margin, I felt like Kairi's good luck charm would light up and start glowing. Then Sora would pull out his Keyblade and form a door. But I had already decided that Keyblades cannot form doors out of the Realm of Darkness (especially since it took two keys to close the Door to Darkness,) (and, otherwise, Aqua could have gotten out). Therefore, I didn't go along with the idea.

Trivia:
That picture that Namine drew on Destiny Islands was of her and Riku. Kairi caught a glimpse of it, but said nothing out of respect towards Namine. That is, until Castle Oblivion, where she feels the need to bring it up.

Fact: (As of CO)
Sora wields Oathkeeper.
Kairi wields Destiny's Embrace.
Riku wields Way to Dawn.
Roxas wields Oblivion.
Xion wields the Kingdom Key.
Ven wields Lost Memory.
Aqua wields Master Keeper.
Terra has no Keyblade because Master Xehanort's Keyblade broke.
Mickey wields Star Seeker.

As of the end of All the Pieces:

Aqua wields Stormfall.
Terra wields Ends of the Earth.
Master Keeper can be wielded by both of them.  Aqua generally carries the charm for it.

Trivia:
Kairi heard Sora's voice in her Awakening due to the connection she has with him through their hearts.

Trivia:
I named Xehanort's Keyblade Drops of Poison after Master Xehanort's theme on the Birth By Sleep soundtrack. Given the fact that his Keyblade doesn't have any official name and I wanted to name it. Drops of Poison seemed fitting.

Trivia:
When I got tired of trying to think of enemies (and rarmaster couldn't name any more) I went to the Kingdom Hearts Wiki and clicked on "random page" until a suitable enemy page came up.

Trivia:
That little star-shard-esque thing that Mickey gave Sora ALL those chapters ago... remember? It isn't actually a star-shard, it was more like a Wayfinder--it functioned as a beacon for Mickey to know when Sora would need more help. For example, Castle Oblivion.  Kairi ends up making a few more of these charms in Betwixt and Between.  Except, with Kairi's charms, it's two that are connected to each other, squeezing one will make the other glow, like a communication signal between the two.

Trivia:
For a bit, I pondered the idea of Riku strapping Namine's stilettos on Cinderella-esque. Riku wanted to do so, but I told him to tone it down in public. He argued that it was just Sora and Roxas, but I still thought it would be just a bit much.

Fact:
Arguably, Terra has already achieved the rank of Master. (Prime indicator of this would be the fact that he performed the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony on Riku.) However, Terra felt that he should achieve such a rank by the right means. Mickey was understanding of this.

Trivia:
In early concept ideas, Kuin's name was never to be mentioned. She and Axel were also not supposed to kiss. Then I wrote the scene.

Fact:
rarmaster and I tried a dozen times to get our two universes to line up perfectly. It never worked. Stupid time-whimey stuff.  They're close.  That's as good as we're gonna get.

Trivia:
Xion's age is actually about a year less than Roxas' because when he restored her memories (and thus her persona), his memories of her were from a younger time, causing her to become that age again.  This is also a reference to Xion taking on the appearance similar to a younger Kairi in the beginning.  However, Xion will age normally after this.

Trivia:

In The World that Never Was, there are 14 bedrooms.  Each door has a different way to get into the room.
Xemnas/Xehanort: He has to form a corridor into the room.  Thus, the room is now eternally locked because he is destroyed.  However, if I ever need to get into his room, I'll come up with a way around that.  (As I'm writing this, I'm already thinking of a couple.)
Xigbar: There's a bullseye on his door.  You have to shoot something into the center from the opposite side of the hall.
Xaldin: He just has a plain old key.  Idk where the key is now... but if it's important, I'm sure someone'll stumble across it.
Vexen: It has a handprint scanner, retinal scanner and a complex numeric code.  (Anyone seen Incredibles? Think Edna Mode.) However, some of his replicas can access this, because he programmed that way out of convenience... so... yeah
Lexaeus: It's a puzzle.  Anyone could figure it out if they thought long and hard enough.
Zexion: Well, it's already been proven that his door was an illusion....
Saix: He had a key fashioned after a claymore.  Axel has the only other copy besides Saix. (EDIT: That was the original plan.  Then when I wrote Axel's copy of the key, it turned into a cardkey.  Go fig.)
Axel: He lights his doorknob on fire.  Though, I suppose anyone could stick a candle to it...
Demyx: He sang to his door.  It was very particular about what songs it liked.  Sometimes Demyx himself was locked out.
Luxord: He had a key-card like you see at most hotels, where it looks like a credit card and you slide it into/through a scanner and your door opens.
Marluxia: Flower power.  He shoots flower petals at it.  No joke.
Larxene: Okay, so you know how you calibrate touch-screens? She calibrated her door with lightning in like, five simple strokes.  You COULD do it with Thunder magic, but it would take a LOT of focus.
Roxas and Xion: They both used Keyblades.  As already explained in All the Pieces.

Trivia:

The experiments in Hawaii are as follows: (in relative order of when the appeared in All the Pieces.)
626: Stitch
037: Snipper (I gave him the purpose of creating clothing at extremely fast paces)
007: Gigi
248: Belle
360: Drowsy
605: Warpstron  (Though, in All the Pieces, 605 was actually an Unversed, not really an experiment.)
221: Sparky
624: Angel
625: Reuben
149: Bonnie
150: Clyde
177: Clip
321: Lightfoot.  (Whose sole purpose is to distract enemies with his tap-dancing routine.  It was so absurd that I had to use it.  Plus, having it work on the Xehanort Replica was just priceless.)

Trivia:
In the picture I drew of Kairi, Sora, Riku and Axel, Sora and Kairi are obviously lying there holding hands.  Roxas and Namine are lying on the sand with their hands firmly over their chests/stomachs.  I imagine an interesting juxtaposition there.  Where Sora and Kairi are completely oblivious to the world, and Roxas and Namine are adamant about the fact that they don’t like each other.

Fact:
When Kairi was four, she was passed the Power accidentally in Radiant Garden whe she touched Aqua’s Keyblade.  Her ability to wield one, however, did not present itself until Riku handed her a Keyblade in The World That Never Was.  After that day/night/whatever (hard to tell in all those Nobody places) she could never summon it back to her.
This was because she had not had her Dive into the Heart yet.  And she couldn’t have one… yet.
It took me a little bit to figure out WHY Kairi wasn’t going to have a Dive until later.  It remained “undetermined” in my QA book for quite a bit.  I just knew she wasn’t able to wield a Keyblade of her own and wouldn’t be able to until the end.
Then, Namine filled me in on the rest of the details.  (As you no doubt already know, she has a habit of doing this.)  Namine is not a Keyblade Wielder. Such an ability was never given to her because when Sora stabbed himself with that Keyblade that created both her and Roxas, Sora was a Keyblade Wielder, Kairi was not.  Therefore, while Roxas received the ability to Wield, Namine did not.  (At least, in my canon.)
Therefore, as long as Namine remained in Kairi’s heart, Kairi could not have a Dive.
I now had a couple of ways to go about doing this.  I either had to wait until Kairi and Namine were separate (which I did end up doing), or I’d have a little scene where Kairi started to have her Dive and get stuck… and then Namine would be like, “Oh, I’m not supposed to be here!” and wriggle herself away.  (I did actually end up writing this scene and it got posted in Plan Beta.)  (There are things I like about both scenes, but we’re not going to talk about that right now.)
I went with the former and she had her Dive during the first battle she was presented with after she and Namine were separate.  The voice that she hears during her Dive is, in fact, Sora’s.  Because of the connection between her and Sora’s hearts.  I picked the weapon that I thought she would choose as well as the answers to the questions that I thought fit her best.  Though, I did change the people from Tidus, Wakka and Selphie to Sora, Riku and Namine—because the latter set fits for Kairi.  I THINK the summary is the right one.  Depending on your choices, you get different adventure predictions, but I didn’t think about this until AFTER I wrote this.  I still think it’s correct though…
Anywho, it’s Sora who pulls her out in the end and that’s that!

Trivia:
I originally considered having Kairi fight Unversed during her Dive, paralleled to Nobodies for Roxas and Heartless for Sora.  However, considering the fact that the Unversed were a construction of Xehanort at the time, I ended up going with Heartless anyway.

Trivia:
Xehanort regained the ability to Wield his Keyblade for one battle.  His last battle.  He steals (well, more like wrenches, really) Xion’s Keyblade from her, and he plunges it into his own heart (despite the risks) in order to unlock the ability to wield a Keyblade of his own once again.

Trivia:
Xehanort’s Keyblade was cracked and mangled for several reasons.  For starters, his heart was a raging mess with Terra in there.  The Keyblade reflects his inner struggles with Terra as well as his outer ones with Sora and company.  Also, he had not Wielded in YEARS.  He’s a tad rusty, so the Keyblade reflects that as well.  But, ultimately, it is a reflection of his heart.  His heart is a twisted, mangled, torn-up mess.  His Keyblade shows that.

Trivia:
In my canon, since Keyblades stick around after their Master has passed, Xehanort’s Keyblade was left lying in Castle Oblivion before someone (probably a Vexen Replica) picked it up and disposed of it somehow.

Trivia:
Namine’s ability to see memories gives her the ability to infer things both about the person and things around the person.  She is naturally perceptive.

Trivia:
Namine has a habit of thinking overly logically (almost like a Vexen Replica at times.)

Fact:
Namine and Riku can be very forceful when they want a scene written. They also have the ability to change when a scene will happen.  They are the most FORCEFUL characters I have. No joke.

Trivia:
Namine kept making me cry at all the things she hasn’t seen before.  (In Sanctuary).  She kept making Riku cry a little on the inside too.  And then he kept making me cry ‘cause he kept being just so nice and sweet to her.  I’m a hopeless romantic at heart.

Fact:
Namine and Riku are very big on promises.  Another theme for them is “Promise” by Thomas Bergersen.  Listen to it, it’s gorgeous.  Though, if you can find the version with more cello and less vocals, that’s the more correct version of their theme in my head.

Trivia:
Both Terra and Aqua’s Keyblade are in a state of disrepair.  Both of them will heal and mend as the story goes on.

Trivia:
I am planning on getting a more personalized Keyblade for Xion and probably a new one for Ven as well.  (The latter bit has been mentioned in-story at this point.)  I’m open to original designs if anyone wants to try for that.

Fact:
Given the fact that the Lanes Between are heavily depended on the Keyblade and I have some major characters (Namine and Axel) who do not wield, the Lanes Between will mostly just be used by Terra, Aqua and Ven.  Everyone else will be using a lot of star shards.  (Dark Corridors will still have their appearances.)

Trivia:
Namiku has a habit of… oh what did I call it originally? Getting carried away and do nothing plot relevant and leave me up plot creek with no denouement paddle.

Trivia:
I completely forgot that Sora’s hand is bandaged.  Tifa told him to not fight with it for SIX weeks.  Guess what he’s doing in The World That Never Was ONE week later? Testing out Drive Forms.  Yup.  I mean, it’s not like Sora can actually keep himself from fighting, so it’s not a huge plot-hole… I just have to have Kairi chide him all the time for it.

Trivia:
Namiku gives me fluff 99.7 percent of the time—which is cute and nice, but hardly ever plot forwarding.  (Technically, they’re getting better, I’ve got a wonderful sequence in Castle Oblivion that isn’t fluffy at all…)  Rokushi is very quiet and calm.  It’s been pointed out to me that they don’t have very many scenes together, and their quiet calmness is in direct correlation with that.  I’m going to work on getting more out of them for your guys’ sake.  SoKai is developing in a cute manner and I’m not going to interrupt it.  I have NO CLUE why Namiku is so fluffy compared to the others.  *shrug*

Fact:
Kairi WILL eventually make all of the Wayfinders/Lucky Charms.  Promise.

Trivia:
Cid has the ability to track star-shards.

Fact:
Axel likes wearing his Organization Cloak because it makes him feel epic.

Trivia:
Generally speaking, when someone shows up at Aerith’s house, they’re looking for Aerith.  Sometimes, though, they’re looking for Cid.

Fact:
I am not shipping Yuffie and Zell.  Not shopping cross-game.

Trivia:
My fic takes place after FF8 but before FF7.

Fact:
The only characters of mine who are ACTUALLY telepathic are Kairi and Namine.  Oh, and Sora and Roxas, they just have a hard time doing so because of Sora’s level of consciousness.  (I’m not even really saying this for your guys’ sake… *I* have problems keeping certain sets of characters from being telepathic… Namiku, Squinoa, Cloud and Tifa…)

Trivia:
“The Sephiroth Problem” was originally coined in a scene by my Sora as he described it as “dealing with a Sephiroth Problem” when talking about things that had happened when he ran into a couple of rar’s charries.  However, that scene hasn’t actually taken place yet and that line may have to be retconned.  Especially since there’s a high chance of that encounter with rar’s charries happening before the Sephiroth Problem actually gets dealt with.  Spoilers.  However, Zack still says that it’s a Sephiroth Problem, because it’s just fun to refer to it that way.

Trivia:
Xion reads.  She reads because she has spare time because she needs less sleep than everyone else.  Currently, she’s going through Riku’s mother’s collection of books.  (It does not surprise me that Riku’s mother reads, not in the slightest.)

Trivia:
To open Marluxia’s door, it not only involves throwing flower petals at it.  It involves throwing flower petals at it in the form of Marluxia’s face.  (Flightfoot’s idea.)

Trivia:
I know I said that Axel was retrieving darts and his dart board (for the purposes of arbitrarily following Kuin) when he ran into Marly.  However, he ALSO grabbed Saix’s key.

Fact:
Sora, Roxas, Xion and Ven can all summon each other’s Keyblades because of their heart connection.  However, it only works when the Keyblade is free-floating and already on the field.  i.e. Roxas can summon Xion’s Keyblade when it’s lying on the ground vs. Roxas can’t summon Sora’s Keyblade when Sora has it in his hand.

Fact:
Namine can sort of hear people’s thoughts because she can see their memories.  Due to her memory-seeing ability, she can get a general idea of what a person is thinking.  (Is it just me, or do those two sentences say exactly the same thing?) When someone thinks something, memories related to that though are pulled to the top of their mind.  Namine can then decipher a general gist of what the person is thinking.  It’s not foolproof, but it’s relatively effective.

Trivia:
For a while there, Namine didn’t realize that communicating with Tinker Bell was something that only she could do.  To her, she’s pretty much always been able to decipher most people’s thoughts.  Her own thoughts, Kairi’s, Roxas’, Xion’s at times.  She’s used to NOT understanding Riku or Axel for the most part.  And these are the people she interacts with on a daily basis.  Given her split with Kairi, she came to the conclusion that the only person whose thoughts she can completely read is Kairi.  However, she’s still able to see the memories of everyone else, so it almost evens out.  But back to Tinker Bell, Namine gets a very vivid image of what Tink is saying because Tink is VERY… erm… well… obvious, for lack of a better word.  Namine doesn’t think twice of it.  She just figures it’s part of the world she’s in.  That is, until Riku tells her that he COULDN’T understand Tink.

Trivia:
While rar was fighting the final boss in Skyward Sword, her Riku had to set up shop in my head because of all the lightning.  The sequence went a little bit like this:

Final Boss: LIGHTNING! MUAHAHAHAHA! YOU’RE DEAD/FOOLISH/STUPID/STILLCHALLENGINGMESOISHALLKILLYOU MUAHAHAHAHA! LIGHTNING!
Rar’s Riku: *shows up in magik’s head* There’s too much lightning over there.  *twitch* I’m going to camp out over here until it’s all over, kay? Good, glad you’re not arguing.
Magik: Uh…. Okay…. You didn’t even give me room to argue…
*two minutes later*
Magik: Oh, I see Namine’s joined us… Well, make yourselves at home…
*the next day*
Rar: Why are they so quiet?
Magik: *smacks head* Oh, I think I know why… do you want them back?

Yes.  I am not kidding.  That happened.

Trivia:
Elixir bottles are gold.  Potions are green.  Ethers are blue.  (Though, ethers probably don’t come in bottles…)

Fact:
Riku’s and Sora’s magic refills itself after a while because they’ve been wielding and using magic for so long.  It’s based off of the fact that Sora’s magic bar will refill in KH2.  Why should that change? So Sora (if he remembers) only carries ethers for lots of magic in a pinch.  Riku doesn’t carry ethers because he knows how to pace himself.  (Plus… I’m figuring that they’re WAY over level 100, so, why CAN’T  their magic refill itself?)

Trivia:

Rinoa’s the one who named Riku and Namine’s Limit.  Her idea.  Totally her idea.  *shrug* I suppose I did sort of take the idea from her in the first place, so I’ll let her name their Limit.

Trivia:
There are some Heartless that I just haven’t named in Betwixt and Between.  I want to be cool and have different Heartless… I’m just… not entirely imaginative enough on this issue to create names for all of them.  They're all pure blood though.  I did, however, name the Poolers!

Fact:

“D’fonn ard, Cruinne” (Irish(ish)) translates roughly to “Tall order, universe.”  Yes, Kuin speaks directly to the universe.
The exception to Kuin’s Irish is “shib” “shibbin” and all other forms of that word.  That word-like-substance is not actually present in any language whatsoever that I know of.  I think “shibboleth” is Jewish, but that’s not the word I’m using.  I derived the word from an error message I would get on my work computer when there was a login error.  Go figure, the word was “shibboleth”.  However, a bunch of coworkers and I just thought we’d turn it into a curse word because every time it came up we all felt like cursing.  That’s where it came from.

Trivia:
Ienzo is choosing to forget all the bad happenings that occurred in Castle Oblivion.  He’s moving on with his life and therefore is not harboring ill-feelings towards anyone who used to be in the Organization.  (However, if I find that he’s harboring ill-feelings towards Xehanort, I wouldn’t be surprised.)

Trivia:
The art store that Axel appears outside (the one near Ienzo’s Library thingy) is the same one that Riku goes to in order to get Namine a new pencil.  (Or, a whole new set of pencils… whatever he ended up buying.)  It is also very probable that Riku and Axel were there at the same time.

Fact:
Riku and Namine were in Hollow Bastion when Axel was with Ienzo looking for information about Kuin.

Trivia: Ienzo has a copy of ‘A History of Xehanort’.  It would not surprise me if he had the ONLY copy.  How does such a book exist? Magic.

Trivia:
(Sad trivia, but still trivia) When Axel and Ienzo went to Kuin’s old house, they arrived roughly where the front room had been.  Which is how Axel accidentally stepped on the picture of her and her family.  (I got the idea from Advent Children, where Denzel does something similar when he’s in the slums.)

Fact:
"Dom a ghlacadh leis an mbunachar sonraí"  translates to: "take me to the database."  Which, is where Kuin was going.  She was going to the database of the Gaian, her people.
Gaian comes from Gaia--worlds seen in both Final Fantasy VII and IX.
"Cad ba mhaith leat as dom, cruinne?" translates to: "What do you want from me, universe?"  Of course, the universe doesn't respond, but that's who Kuin works for, so she's going to ask anyway.

Trivia:
27’s job is the security of Castle Oblivion.  He also makes really good tea.
34 is in charge of the remaining Replica Program.  He also got put on the top spot for retaining the darkness problems.
42 is… he’s just there.  He’s snooty so I don’t like writing for him all the time.

Trivia:
Originally, when Kairi and Sora go to the secret place, I had planned that Sora had never seen the second Paopu fruit, (which was Kairi’s surprise) making the scene rather different in my head.  However, then rar reminded me that he’d seen the second one.  (Note KH2 ending.)  So the scene had to be changed from Sora not knowing to Kairi just thinking that Sora didn’t know.  Not to horribly different, it just changed some of the dialogue.  If I had some of the original dialogue, I’d give it to you, except I never wrote it down and I have since forgotten what it was originally.

Fact:
Axel was just nonchalant about meeting the other Axel.  He’s honestly seen stranger things.  And a doppelganger of himself isn’t the strangest.

Trivia:
In the school dance sequence, each dress that one of the girls is wearing is actually modified from a dress that I already own and wore to one of the more formal dances at my high school over the years.  They were then modified slightly just to fit the personality of the girl wearing them.  (e.g. the dress that Xion’s is modeled after did, actually, have frills.  However, Xion wouldn’t wear frills in a million years, so that was changed.)  But, modeling the dresses off of things I already owned made it easier to describe them in-scene.

Fact:
Riku can banish his blade when Namine’s holding it. However, they have to be holding hands.

Trivia:
Vexen’s pillar thingy in the World That Never Was is not read because he’s not dead.  But it isn’t necessarily blue, either.  It’s just… blank.  Because he’s in another universe.

Fact:
Namine is the Master of Memories.

Trivia:
In Port Royal, upon asking whether or not they could just unlock the door, Riku seriously thought: “But that spoils the fun.”

Trivia:
In Castle Oblivion when Sora, Namine and Kairi are trying to get into the Computer Room, I imagined up a whole little sequence that would occur if this were a video game:
You know those little bits of dialogue that you get that depending on what you select will generate different reactions from the characters? So, imagine Kairi, Namine and Sora all standing outside this locked door and you, the player, have to pick which person is going to open it.  Naturally, if you choose Namine, she'd just walk up to the door, jiggle the handle and turn around, shrugging--because the door's locked and she can't do anything about it.  If you selected Kairi, Sora would be all chivalrous and let Kairi do the honors of unlocking the door.  If you selected Sora, he'd just march right up and unlock the door.

Fact:
I hate writing for Larxene.  It’s gross-feeling.

Trivia:
Larxene apparently knows French.  In the CoM manga, at one point, I remember her reading a book by the Marquis de Sade.  He was French.  He was also the founder of Sadism.  Rather appropriate for her.  Pity I can’t remember what the book is though… Not that I’d recommend you read it… I remember trying and it was dull.

Trivia:
Marluxia never lost his flower-power.  Or whatever you’d call it.  I guess it’s just something he had pre-Nobody status.  So he never lost it after regaining Somebody status.  He has yet to regain the ability to form dark corridors though.  He many never do so.
Larxene, however, lost both her lighting abilities and her control over darkness. She also managed to get them both back on her own out of rage, anger, and other dark/negative things.  Yes, she has fallen to the dark side of the force.

Trivia:
Sora and Roxas are not as telepathic as Namine and Kairi because Sora and Roxas are on different levels of consciousness from each other.  Sora is pretty much always in some hyperactive state, remember? This would cause headaches for the two of them if they seriously tried for long enough.

Trivia:
As I was writing the scene where Sora, Kairi and Namine are fighting Larxene, I kept thinking about the electrifying chus in Skyward Sword, you know, where you run into them and you’re frozen for a couple of seconds as Link’s got electricity running all through his body… yeah.  So that’s why there’s more of a realistic (ish) reaction to the lightning in that chapter.

Trivia:
In Final Resort (Kairi and Namine's epic combo), I was going to incorporate a reverse-effect, a "darkness" in the midst of the "light" because of the whole "closer to the light/greater your shadow becomes" thing.  It would be like the little light-forms, except they would be dark-forms that were spawning from the two of them as well.  However, I didn't do that because it's too complicated at this point.  I may explore such an option later and incorporate Sora/Riku being "knights".  Though, adding the darkness in that instance would have been so perfect because then he could have refilled his Drive gauge on the "darkness"es.  Because he would have had to destroy them... yeah... oh well.  Too complicated.  I figure such a thing will be incorporated when the combo gets stronger and therefore, there is more of a chance of the darkness coming out to "balance" the light.

Trivia:
I made a puppet reference in the chapter referenced above.  With how Kairi is controlling the light forms, it goes back to the “Namine is a puppetmaster” from the German cosplay of CoM.  Yes, I went there.

Trivia:
In reference to that puppetmaster thing, it’s also a reference to bloodbending from Avatar.

Fact:
Savage and Ruthless are two words that describe Larxene ALL THE TIME.  It’s pretty funny when I’m writing for characters that are trying to describe her and those are the first two words they think of.

Fact:
Call of Light, (one of Roxas and Xion’s combos) has inspiration from Skyward Strike.  It has also occurred to me that both of Roxas and Xion’s combos are both targeted for large amounts of small enemies surrounding them.  However, Call of Light worked just fine on Marluxia.

Trivia:
I think Marluxia has gone a tad crazy ever since becoming a Somebody again.  It’s just the feeling I’m getting from writing him.  Either that, or he’s pretending.

Fact:
Yuffie and Zell don't get along well for a couple of reasons.  One, there is an age difference.  Zell's a lot older than Yuffie in my fic.  I forget the exact age difference, but it's around 10.  So, if anything, because Zell's so fun loving and whatnot, Yuffie ends up seeing him as immature because he's not all serious like Cloud and Leon.  (Zack's an exception at this point because he's older than Yuffie and still fun-loving, but they've always gotten along well... that and Zack's dating Aerith and Yuffie likes Aerith...) Another reason is that both Yuffie and Zell are stubborn in their own ways, and they're stubborn in ways that clash with one another.

Trivia:
Gameplay of Final Resort: You'd control the light forms.  You'd have this little menu of what forms you could summon and you'd control them, not Kairi.  (Since I've kinda already stated that Kairi doesn't move during this Limit.)  I think this is kinda like FFX, which I need to play.  *shrug*

Trivia:
Heartless are Dementors now.  Rinoa and Namine have, apparently, insisted on bringing this up.  So, when the Heartless swamp a person, it essentially starts the process of dragging the person into darkness.  Therefore, it's draining your energy, your drive, your will, your health, your magic, etc.  However, as I was writing them explaining this in-fic, it made me think of Dementors and the whole soul-sucking thing.  Heartless suck hearts in a similar way, I guess.  So, large amounts of Heartless are definitely a bad thing.

Trivia:
Um, okay, the birds.  So, I don't know why I decided to make Kairi and Namine birds--it just happened.  So I googled bird symbolism.  Falcon, which is Kairi, means: "A light that shines in the darkness"  BAM.  That one was just HANDED to me on a silver platter.  Owl, which is Namine, means a lot of things, but the words that stood out to me the most were: darkness, wisdom and virtue.  There's a third bird for Xion (and I don't really consider this spoilers.)  That bird is the Eagle, which means resurrection and courage.  Also pretty much handed to me.
Then Sora's a lion, but I'll let you speculate on who everyone else is.  Unless you're ALL dying to know NOW.

Trivia:
I've seen some talk about Drive Forms for Kairi, something I know a lot of fanfic writers incorporate.  As much as I'd LIKE to include Drive Forms for Kairi, Riku, etc, I can't.  Because, it just logically doesn't work in my canon.  Sorry.  (That doesn't stop me from thinking about kinda how such forms would look like... but... it just doesn't work... sorry guys.)

Trivia:
The line “making magic carries a lot of responsibility” was told to me in my Traditions class at the start of my Disney College Program.  I just found the words really fitting for the scene where Kairi and Namine learn more about their Limit (as well as Holy) from Aerith and Rinoa.  Granted, it probably would have worked for ANY scene involving magic-learning.  This is the first major one that’s come up.  And the line just sounds so beautiful coming from Aerith.  And it’s so perfect that Mickey’s the one who told Aerith that.  (Though, I mean, I set it up that way, but still).  “It all started with a mouse.” And the line “A mouse before he was King” is almost chilling to me.  Mickey’s come a long way from that steamboat.  **Yes, I know that Plane Crazy was animated first, but Steamboat Willie was aired first.  So there.

Fact:
Namine is very booksmart.  I really think she’s just the equivalent of a booksmart girl.  She spent a whole bunch of time by herself, not out tehre fighting.  It's like she's "read" all about this stuff: "but how do you TEACH Holy?" but she has no idea of the practical applications of this stuff.  It's weird, but that's the impression I get from her.

Trivia:
Some of you (maybe you have, maybe you haven't) MAY have noticed that Limit Form has differences.  Why the differences to Limit Form? (And some info on Anti-Form while I’m at it).  Well, the way Sora's Drive Forms are set up now, it takes one friend to trigger each form.  (Anti-Form exempt).  Therefore, Limit Form takes a friend now, too; despite not needing one before.  Because Xion triggers Limit, Sora gains a second Keyblade to wield like he does when he's in Valor, Master, or Final; making Wisdom (triggered by Namine) the only form he doesn't dual-wield in.  (Anti-Form, again, excluded).  Anti-Form takes two (or one, if there is only one other friend present) friends to trigger because Anti-Form likes to screw you up like that.  After that, it just continues on like normal.  As Sora uses these Drive Forms, the darkness rises up inside of him because he's using so much light that there is a darkness backlash.  Final Form reduces the darkness levels inside of Sora that are exacerbated (big word) every time he uses any of the other Drive Forms.  Anti-Form is a direct result of those darkness levels--much like how it is in KH2.  Remember counting (roughly) in your head how many more Drive Forms you had until you triggered Anti? Yeah, that's what this is.  Final Form negates that--like it does in KH2.

Trivia:
Sora can feel the darkness rising up inside of him and he knows what to do to rectify it.  Either he uses Final Form with Roxas to reduce the darkness, or he just allows Anti to be triggered and expels the darkness that way.  Either works, though Anti can cause more problems than it solves.

Trivia:
There are 10 people living at Aerith’s house at the moment.  There are 3 sets of rounds.  3 people go in the morning.  3 people in the afternoon.  And 3 people at night.  1 person gets a day off to rest.  Obviously emergencies can require a change in schedule one way or another.  Cid also happens to have a lot of testing rounds due to his machinery.  Like, how he has to go out night to test the night vision on his canon or something.  The other thing that changes things up is when there’s visitors.  Changes in schedule usually mean that there are a few people who have to pick up slack.  Those who don’t mind are… well, take a guess… Leon, Cloud, Zack, Aerith, and Tifa.  I mean, not to say that Rinoa and Quistis don’t mind picking up slack either, but they won’t be the first volunteers.  Zack usually is.  Yuffie NEVER wants to pick up slack.  Zell never offers.  Cid’s usually too busy with his canons to pick up slack.

Fact:
Hades will never underestimate Namine again.

Trivia:
Hades makes a reference to Aerith possibly dating both Cloud and Zack (over different periods of time.)  He also references Zack’s death.  And the flower girl thing.

Trivia:
At the magical meeting, Genie is wearing a Goofy-hat.  The one that he has on at the end of Aladdin.  Pretty sure you can buy those from Disney.

Fact:
Namine can figure out who someone is based on their memories, assuming she’s met them before.

Trivia:
The whiteness seen in rar’s Leon’s memories is actually a reference to the white screen I kept getting with my corrupted disc in FF8.

Trivia:
Namine and Riku’s encounter with Shad was originally planned to happen on Destiny Islands.  It was also supposed to be in my universe, until we realized that Shad’s plane of existence wouldn’t allow for cross-universe travel.  Then, by moving it to rar’s universe, we realized that for it to happen in a certain window of Shad’s character development, it wasn’t feasible to have it on Destiny Islands, so it got moved to Hollow Bastion.

Fact:
Namine can’t just go looking through Repliku’s memories.  Due to their past, his memories look like one thing to her: a giant, shattered mess.  She feels so guilty about that that she can’t even look at it for any period of time.  Plus, it takes her fifteen times as long to “browse” through his memories because it’s a piecemeal of stuff (and then she feels more guilty because it’s her fault it’s a train wreck.)

Fact:
Namine is still genuinely concerned about Repliku’s feelings.  Not because she’s romantically  interested in him—because, those feelings only went one way and it was him that liked her.  She can’t feel bad about that.  Well, she could, but she already feels bad enough about so many other things that she just doesn’t feel bad that she never returned his affection, as bad as that sounds.  But, she’s still interested in his well-being.  She still CARES about him, even if he doesn’t believe that.

Fact:
When Namine was dealing with Shad for the second time, despite being very close to Repliku, she knew that going and seeing if he was okay was completely out of the picture because she knew that her presence would just make things worse.

Trivia:
I never mention the names of the Gullwings because of the two Yunas sitting in the room.  I actually have three Yunas existing in my universe.  Yay paradoxes! There’s one that’s Tidus’ age who lives on Destiny Islands; a Summoner Yuna who’s older, and then Gullwing Gunner Yuna.

Trivia:
The Mad Hatter made a reference to Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog when he says when he's mad.  He's mad only on Tuesdays and Saturdays, except last month when he skipped the weekends.  It directly references when Billy is talking about when Penny goes to the Laundromat.  Yup.  I went there.

Fact:
Periwinkle is a new Pixie that's coming to Pixie Hollow.  I don't know if any of you watch the Disney Fairies show on Disney Channel.  But yeah, she's a new one that's coming.  The things I know from working at Disney.

Fact:
Alice, William, Tristan and Kat are my personal OC's that don't have any other appearance in my KH fanfics except here.  They're mine, from my book.  I hauled them in for a cameo since their universe is based entirely with magik and I might as well bring them to a Magical Meeting.  They probably won't appear any time soon.  But yeah, that's why you don't know them, because I created them.

Trivia:
William saying 'kowashite'.  It was William, wasn't it? *goes and looks* No, he didn't say it, I said it expanding on something that he did say though.  Anyway, I used the term 'kowashite' there because it literally means what I wanted to say there, and it uses less words.  'Kowashite' means kill, destroy, or break, essentially.  And that's what William was meaning when he said 'take care of.'

Trivia:
So Mickey sends out the invitations.  No Keyblade Wielder gets one.  Now, either this is because Mickey didn't get one because he was sending them out and Aqua (the only other legitimate magic person) didn't get one because she didn't believe herself powerful enough/didn't think it was her place.  OR, no Keyblade Wielder got one because their magic messed up with the little charm that Mickey put on the letters so that they'd reach every appropriate magical person.  Kairi's legitimately not ready yet.  In a few years, Kairi and Namine both would probably be at that meeting.

Trivia:
During the Magical Meeting sequence, my fingers kept mixing up the names “Axel” and “Alex”.  I’m surprised there weren’t any errors.

Fact:
Kuin is indeed a centered flexor.  It goes along with her being born to keep the balance of the universe.

Fact:
Xion just forms corridors in her pockets to retrieve objects that are in her room back on Destiny Islands, just to give the appearance of 'never-ending pockets'.  (Either that, or someone's taught her Timelord technology... but in this universe, dark corridors are more likely.)

Trivia:
Zack does as many squats as there are feet in a mile when Aerith is away.  When she’s around, he only does about 1760 squats.  (Which is equal to the amount of yards in a mile.)  Yeah, I needed random large numbers.

Trivia:
If no one stops her, Yuffie will call Tifa ‘Boobs’.  It goes back to where in FF7, if you have Yuffie in the party when Tifa’s the party leader, Yuffie will call Tifa ‘Boobs’.  Every.  Single.  Time.

Fact:
Characters hide things from even me sometimes. Take, for example, Ienzo.  For a while there, I didn’t know what he was hiding (from the other characters.)  He just decided that he wanted to be hiding something.  I was writing the scene and I just looked over at Rar and I was like: "Ienzo knows something about Xehanort and this darkness problem"  and she was like: "Cool?" My response was: "Yeah, it'd be excellent if I knew WHAT it is he knows!" Ienzo's so good at hiding thing the author doesn't even know.  So, like, a week later when I'm plotting out a later scene, I literally had written all over the page, "What is it that Ienzo knows?" "What is it that Ienzo knows?" "What is it that Ienzo knows?" And then I'd circle it.  And then I got to thinking that maybe all of this is Xehanort's fault and so I kept wondering "WHAT THE HECK IS XEHANORT UP TO?!?"  I'm sure I looked really crazy to my boyfriend (since he was sitting in the same room as I'm trying to figure this all out...) There are all these little important plot points surrounding Ienzo/Xehanort/Hollow Bastion/Aerith/Rinoa/Space Paranoids that I have to figure out.  And there's no telling if they're related to the other problems that I've written in! This is the problem with having darkness be the enemy.  You can't really control it...

Trivia:
“Aw flaming fu-…” is the beginning of a curse that my boyfriend uses: “flaming fudgemonkeys.”  Don’t ask, it just happens.  I thought it an appropriate curse for Axel, given the word ‘flaming’ and whatnot.

Trivia:
Sora’s humming “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast towards the end of the scene where everyone confronts Axel.  How does he know this song? I don’t know, nor do I care.  It’s like an Easter Egg of sorts!

Trivia:
Both Aqua and Terra like narrating their lives… via monologues.  This makes it nearly impossible to stay in any one of their POVs.

Fact:
Cid had a darkness tracker installed on his computer in HB that tracked the darkness levels of all the worlds they know about (basically, all the ones that Sora had been to, with input from Mickey and Riku.)  Based on this darkness tracker, Cid can notify Sora or Mickey about spikes and send them to investigate.  Sora and the gang essentially have two phones that Cid can call them on.  (One phone and then a spare.) Mickey has another phone.  Um, I'm working on getting Terra/Aqua/Ven one, however, they haven't seen Cid yet...

Trivia:
It has occurred to me just how powerful Namine actually is.  And… quite frankly… there’s not much reason for it.  She’s just really powerful.  When I consider the combos that she can do with Kairi, Riku or Sora (some of them have been written into the story, some haven’t… yet.) But thinking about just Wingblade, Final Resort, and Decompression, all involve great displays of Namine’s power.  There’s no other word for it.  She has great command of Light, which comes partially from being part of Kairi’s heart, and partially from just being really darn good at Holy magic.  She also just packs a crapton of power.  The power is also exhibited in her memory prowess.  She can search through all the memories in an area and determine different people.  She can shatter memories in both large and small quantities.  She can pick through one person’s memories and dig down deeper into their person (Shad.) She’s… scary.  I don’t even know how she ended up being this way.  Because, logically, she should NOT be this powerful.  If I was calling the shots on this, I would have reigned her back.  But… it’s Namine.  And she made this decision.

Trivia:
Yes, Xehanort would rather destroy a world than to let his research fall into other hands.

Fact:
Ansem will be coming back, I just honestly can’t say when given how this story works.  I promise you though, when he does come back, there will be a reason and I will do everything I can to make that reason meaningful.

Trivia:
Namine, for some reason, keeps trying to read Riku’s mind.  Like, word-for-word stuff.  Not just conjecture based on memories.  Problem is, she can’t actually do that.  But she keeps trying.

Fact:
I put a lot of effort into the chapters in the CO sequence with merging the gameplay of CoM and what would make sense to be written.  I hope I did a good enough job.  Riku got scared for a minute though, he thought I was going to make him fight on the card system.  I told him he wouldn’t have to and he felt better.

Trivia:
Apparently, TWTNW was destroyed after KH2.  (According to canon.)  Things I'm not changing.

  1. you should change that last trivia to a fact. It's a FACT that Axel likes wearing his Org Cloack because it makes him feel epic.
